Stop big banks’ attack on Canadian oil and gas

Canada’s big banks have launched an attack on the men and women who work in Canada’s oil and gas industry.

Each of the major banks has policies that put the interests of environmental organizations over the livelihoods of the hundreds of thousands of Canadians who work in the energy sector.

Millions of Canadians depend on the oil and gas industry. These policies put our economy at risk.

It’s time for the banks to be accountable for their actions.

That’s why we’ve put forward proposals at several the banks’ Annual General Meetings demanding they be accountable for policies that hurt Canadian workers and punish Canada’s energy sector.
